EBS offers care services that ensure that all the client's needs are met in a holistic and integrated way. This means services are person-centred enabling greater control and flexibility for us to meet the needs of clients in a responsive way. We do this by ensuring that care plans, risk assessments are reflective of the person’s wishes and preferences thus maximising independence. Clearly record personal preferences, needs, goals, and areas of risk unique to you. The care provided is not risk-averse but balance independence and choice minimising risk, staff are trained to support this approach for it to work. We ensure that care plans are frequently reviewed and care workers are known to the person and limited to a small number of people providing care (3 to 4 per client). We work collaboratively with integrated professionals, family members, the various stakeholders and above all, the service user, always in a person centred fashion.

 If your loved one has complex care needing continuing healthcare, EBS will provide carers throughout the day and the night, this is 24-hour care.

When looking at care options for your loved one, it’s important to note there’s a slight difference between a carer being on call 24/7 and providing 24/7 care. The former is undertaken by a single live-in carer who fulfils the care recipient’s needs throughout daylight hours, sleeps at their property, and is available to assist your loved one a couple of times during the night should they wake. The latter requires two carers, who are in constant contact with the care recipient, exchanging shifts to make sure continual care needs are met. At EBS we provide both care services.
